Galvanized steel plates are divided into ordinary electrolytic plates and fingerprint resistant electrolytic plates. The fingerprint resistant plate is an addition of a fingerprint resistant treatment on the basis of a regular electrolytic plate, which can resist sweat and is generally used on parts that have not undergone any treatment. The grade is SECC-N. Ordinary electrolytic plates are divided into phosphating plates and passivation plates. Phosphating is more commonly used, with the brand SECC-P, commonly known as P material. Passivation plates can be coated with oil or not.
Hot dip galvanized steel plate (SGCC) has an advantage over electroplated galvanized steel plate (SECC). SECC is prone to rusting in bending and cross-section, while SGCC has much better rust resistance under the same conditions. High quality chassis are usually made of SECC or SGCC galvanized steel plates, which have a shiny color and metallic luster. The advantage of this type of steel plate is its good corrosion resistance.
Electroplated galvanized steel sheet (SECC): uniform gray, mainly imported, fingerprint resistant, with excellent corrosion resistance, and maintains the processability of cold-rolled steel sheet. Usage: Home appliances, computer case shells, as well as some door panels and panels.
Hot dip galvanized steel plate (SGCC): dip plated, bright white, small zinc flowers (difficult to see), large zinc flowers can clearly see hexagonal flower blocks.
Corrosion resistance, paintability, formability, and spot welding performance. Widely used, mainly for components that require good appearance in small household appliances.
Divided by zinc: The size of the zinc flower and the thickness of the zinc layer can indicate the quality of galvanizing, with smaller and thicker layers being better. Manufacturers can also add fingerprint resistant processing. Another way is that it can be distinguished by its coating, for example, Z12 represents the total amount of double-sided coating of 120g/mm.
Aluminum zinc coated steel plate (SGLD): It is a multi-phase alloy material containing rich aluminum and zinc. Due to the characteristics of aluminum and zinc, it has superior performance compared to hot-dip galvanized steel plates (SGCC). Main characteristics: Corrosion resistance, which is much higher in ability than SGCC; Heat resistance, thermal conductivity, and thermal reflectivity; Formability; Weldability Usage: Used in places that require good reflectivity, such as reflector plates inside ovens and electric pots. Hot dip galvanized steel plate (SGCC) is commonly used, aluminum zinc coated steel plate (SGLD) is deep drawn, and SGCE is ultra deep drawn.
