The main difference between 1050 aluminum plate and 1060 aluminum plate lies in the aluminum content (1050 contains 99.5% aluminum, 1060 contains 99.6% aluminum) and trace copper element (1060 contains 0.05% copper). The two have similar properties and can be replaced by each other, but 1060 is more commonly used due to mature production technology
Aluminum content and composition: 1050 aluminum plate has an aluminum content of ≥ 99.5%, 1060 aluminum plate has an aluminum content of ≥ 99.6%, and the latter contains trace amounts of copper (0.05%). Production process and market application: 1060 is often used as a substitute for 1050 due to its mature technology, multiple manufacturers, and competitive price; However, 1050 still retains specific requirements in export trade due to its slightly better corrosion resistance.
Common Performance and Usage
All belong to the pure aluminum plate series, with good forming processing characteristics, corrosion resistance, welding and excellent conductivity.
