The world standards corresponding to GB/T3191 are mainly ASTM B221 in the United States and JIS H4040 in Japan. GB/T3191-2019 has been revised based on GB/T3191-2010. The main technical changes include the deletion of normative reference document GB/T 228, the addition of normative reference document GB/T 8170, the modification of the diameter supply specification for round bars from "5 mm~600 mm" to "5 mm~350 mm", and the modification of the provisions for the average magnesium content of SXXX alloy in Class I and Class E grades
In addition, GB/T3191-2019 has added rod grades 2219, 2618, 6101B, and 6110A, as well as zero status for grades T1050A, 2014, and Zol4A. These changes make GB/T3191-2019 more in line with international standards and improve its applicability and accuracy.
