Product Description

C22000 is a common brass material, mainly composed of elements such as copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), and iron (Fe). Specifically, the chemical composition of C22000 is as follows: copper content is 89.0-91.0%, zinc content is the balance, lead and iron content do not exceed 0.05%, and the total amount of other impurity elements does not exceed 0.3%. 12

Processing performance and corrosion resistance
C22000 has good processing performance and can be formed through casting, forging, extrusion, turning, milling and other methods. The work hardening rate is high, and the strength and hardness are significantly improved after cold working. It has good corrosion resistance in dry air and performs well in seawater and other corrosive environments, but may suffer stress corrosion cracking in environments containing hydrogen sulfide or chloride.6
