The standard spelling is "SA-210C", and common errors include SA 210C or SA210-C. China transplanted it to the GB5310 standard in 1995 and named it 25MnG.
2. Chemical composition and properties
Composition: Characterized by high carbon and manganese content (similar to 20G carbon steel but with higher strength), other components are similar to 20G.
Mechanical properties: The yield strength is about 12% -20% higher than 20G, while maintaining similar plasticity and toughness.
Processing performance: The production process is simple, with good cold and hot processing and welding performance, suitable for manufacturing complex components.
3. Main purpose
SA-210C is widely used in the following scenarios:
Power plant boilers: such as water-cooled walls, economizers, low-temperature superheaters, and other heating surface piping systems with operating temperatures below 500 ºC.
Other fields: High pressure pipelines for petrochemicals, nuclear energy equipment, and aerospace, but attention should be paid to their high temperature resistance limit (usually not exceeding 500 ºC).
