German mold steel DIN1.2311, also known as German mold steel, is produced through an "ultra pure" process, pre hardened, presenting a high degree of micro purity and excellent homogeneous structure, as well as excellent polishing and photo etching engraving properties. After heat treatment, it has good processing and polishing performance, can be nitrided, suitable for surface treatment such as chrome plating, uniform material hardness (up to 400mm thickness), good toughness, and good mechanical processing performance. The gold structure is composed of martensite and bainite.
