ASTM A572 Gr.50 Steel Pipe
1. Material Overview
ASTM A572 Gr.50 is an American standard High-Strength Low-Alloy (HSLA) niobium-vanadium microalloyed steel, governed by standard ASTM A572/A572M. The designation Gr.50 means the minimum yield strength is 50 ksi (345 MPa). It is commonly supplied as seamless or welded steel pipes. Its equivalent grades include Chinese standard Q355B and European standard S355J2.
